The Hawker 900XP is a medium jet which was the successor of the Hawker 800 and Hawker 800XP. Compared to the Hawker 800/800XP the 900XP featured improved payload and performance as well as lower cost of operations. The jet family was originally developed by British Aerospace and the first flight occurred in 1983. Later on the jets were assembled by Hawker Beechcraft. The 900XP model was introduced in 2006 and manufactured until 2013 when Hawker Beechcraft became insolvent. Overall, 183 900XP were delivered, with the majority of the planes being operated in North America.
